St. Marks Women’s Golf Tournament Benefitting Susan G. Komen

cGet Set for the Saint Marks Susan G. Komen Golf Tournament

On October 27 St. Marks Women’s Golf Tournament benefiting Susan G. Komen will tee off its annual event with four person scrimmages. There will be shots for sale on the fourteenth tee.

It will held at St.Marks Women’s Golf Club and is open to members and their guests. Admission for the event per person is a $20 check made payable to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. For an additional $15 dollars attendees can enjoy a host free awards luncheon.

Shotgun is at 8:00 am. Additional attractions during the tournament include Mulligans Magic Putts for a donation of $5.00 per team along with a prize raffle tickets for a dollar with extra tickets for purchasing $5 and $10 ticket bundles.Attendees are requested to dress in pink.

2017 Aspen Medical Products San Diego Triathlon Challenge

On October 18, the Challenged Athletes Foundation will be holding the 2015 Aspen Medical Products San Diego Triathlon Challenge at La Jolla Cove. This event seeks to raise over $1 million every year to help purchase adaptive sports equipment and fund clinics and mentoring programs for physically-challenged athletes.

The Aspen Medical Products San Diego Triathlon Challenge is known for its unique format and brings together over 200 physically-challenged athletes of all ages and skill levels to compete alongside professional athletes and celebrities.

The Triathlon Challenge will be held at Scripps Park at La Jolla Cove, which is located at 1133 Coast Boulevard in La Jolla, California. Registration for the Triathlon and other events going on that day is open to the public.

2017 ISA World Adaptive Surfing Championship

international_surfingThis fall, the Challenged Athletes Foundation, a San Diego-based nonprofit, will be partnering with the International Surfing Association to present the 2015 ISA World Adaptive Surfing Championship in La Jolla.

The 2015 ISA World Adaptive Surfing Championship will be held from September 24 to September 27 at La Jolla Shores at 8200 Camino Del Oro in La Jolla.

The event will feature over 50 surfers representing 15 countries from around the world. Each of these surfers lives with a physical disability, and this championship will give them the chance to showcase their talent to the rest of the world.

2017 Annual Camp Erin© San Diego Golf Tournament

2015_CEGTOn Tuesday, September 22 2015, Camp Erin will hold the 8th Annual Camp Erin San Diego Golf Tournament at The Crosby at Rancho Santa Fe.

This fundraising event is for the benefit of Camp Erin San Diego, a bereavement camp for children and teens between the ages of 6 and 17 who have recently lost someone close to them.

The event will begin at noon on September 22 and will include hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction and a dinner. Golf registration is $400 per person, while those interested in only attending a dinner can do so for $150.
